We're located in the heart of Manitowoc County, WI, along the shores of Lake Michigan. With over 311,000 acres in our watershed and seven vital rivers that flow through it, our mission is simple: promote soil health practices that reduce nutrient runoff, protect surface and groundwater, and enhance our cropland's productivity.
Land
Our member farmers care for 31,248 acres of cropland,
711 acres of pasture, and 140 acres of managed forest.
Water
The Branch River, East Twin, West Twin, Silver Creek, Point Creek, Manitowoc River, Meeme River flow through our watershed & outlet into Lake Michigan.
Impact
Through the implementation of cropland conservation practices, such as cover crops and no-till, our producers collectively reduced soil & nutrient loss by 27,551 Tons of Sediment, (that's 2,754 dump trucks of soil) and 30,268 lbs. of Phosphorus.
